Schroeder Township Local Board of Appeal and Equalization meeting will be May 22

Schroeder residents or landowners in Schroeder Township who have questions about their property taxes should first contact the county assessor with questions, but if you believe the value or classification of your property is still not correct, then come to the Board of Appeal and Equalization meeting.

The Schroeder Township Local Board of Appeal and Equalization will meet at the Schroeder Townhall at 5 p.m. on Monday, May 22.

The board will review valuation, classification, or both if necessary, and make corrections as needed.

Generally, an appearance before a local Board of Appeal and Equalization is required by law before an appeal can be taken to the County Board of Appeal and Equalization for a final determination.
