Malorie Schliep graduated from Lake Superior College on May 20, 2013, earning her medical laboratory technician AAS degree. Commencement exercises were held in the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center Symphony Hall.
Student Senate President Kyel Vanderflute gave the student address. LSC President Patrick Johns issued a statement recognizing the graduates. He said, “This special occasion also marks the start of new careers or the pursuit of more education for many of our students. We congratulate the class of 2013 and wish them success.”
Malorie has been hired by Riverwood Healthcare Center in Aitkin, MN.
Malorie is the daughter of Peter and Dena Schliep of Grand Marais. She is a 2008 graduate of Cook County High School.
