Did you read the Ark/ Titanic letter to the editor two weeks ago? I received the Lord Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior in June of 1967 during the six-day war Israel fought and won against her aggressors, Egypt, Syria and Jordan.
Now, 45 years later, I am still learning what it means that Jesus is Lord. I have not even begun to plumb the depths of God’s Word or mine its priceless riches. I was saved by God’s grace (Ephesians 2:8,9) and I am kept by His grace.
If you chose to “heed the warning” and repent of your sins and receive Jesus (I have been praying that you would), then as a newborn Christian you need to be fed. You need to get a Bible (Matthew 4:4—Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God). Pray and ask God to give you understanding as you read. It is God’s love letter to you. The Gospel of John is a good place to start.
Talk to a Christian about your decision to trust in Jesus. They will be thrilled to hear it! Ask God to lead you to a good Bible-teaching church. God bless you, child of God, you are Heavenbound!
