This year is the 5th Annual Santa’s Workshop — on Dec. 4, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Community Center in Grand Marais.

The Girl Scouts of Cook County will provide a shopping area for kids to buy Christmas presents for their family and friends. Prices for the kids’ shopping area range from 50 cents to $2 per item. Girl Scout elves will help even the littlest shoppers pick out presents that can be wrapped and ready as a secret until Christmas.

There will also be free crafts and face painting. Snacks and lunch will be available for purchase—as well as some baked goods to take home.

There will be Christmas gifts and handmade items for adults to purchase, as well.
