The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and the University of Minnesota Medical School/Duluth will host a community presentation on the recently completed study: Rural Obstetrics and Maternal Preferences. The meeting will be held Wednesday, July 12, at the Community Center in Grand Marais, and everyone is welcome to attend. The report will focus on data derived from a survey that began one year ago.
Over 200 women from our area participated, answering questions about their experiences in managing their pregnancies as Cook County residents, from 1990 through 2016. The study also included experiences from women who had care through Essentia/ Ely Clinic.
This project is co-sponsored and funded by the Sawtooth Mountain Clinic, Essentia/Ely Clinic, the University of Minnesota, and the Minnesota Medical Foundation.
There will be snacks available at 4:30 p.m. with the presentation at 5:30 p.m.
