Rosanne Marie Norman


 

 

Rosanne Marie Norman, daughter of Lloyd and Marcella (Konvalin) Norman, was born on July 25, 1956, in Duluth, Minnesota. She was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hovland, Minnesota. She grew up in in Grand Marais, Grand Rapids, the Twin Cities area, and later Frederic, Wisconsin, where she graduated from high school in 1974. Rosanne continued her education at the University of Wisconsin – Stout and graduated from the University of Minnesota on December 9, 1989, with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology of Law, Criminology, and Deviance.

Rosanne worked in the Minneapolis area as a phlebotomist for Aventis Bio Services and as a supervisor at the Red Cross, retiring in 2018. She died at her home in Lindstrom, Minnesota, on March 28, 2021.

Rosanne will be remembered for her infectious laughter, adventurous and fearless spirit, and positive outlook. She had a passion for music, art, food, and travel. She loved animals, playing softball, and being outdoors. Rosanne had a sweet and generous nature. She was strong, independent, very caring and kind.

Surviving Rosanne are her daughter Marcelia Rose Norman, her partner Tim Bailey, her three brothers: Greg and his wife Wendy, Gary, and Grant and his wife Dawn, nephews Darin Norman and Erik Norman, niece Sophie Norman, Aunt Marie Kubat, and nine cousins. She was predeceased by her parents.

A memorial service will be held later this year.
