Rory Alan (Rosendahl) Hite, 49, of Duluth passed away unexpectedly January 2, 2013 of heart failure at St. Mary’s Medical Center-Essentia Health with his brother Douglas Rosendahl, his Nana, Judy Ansello, cousins Dan Ansello and Ron Wilson at his side.
Rory was a friendly man who is known for his kindness, politeness, respectfulness, caring, teasing ways. His nieces and cousins will sadly miss his laughing, teasing ways.
He helped by donating his time for fundraisers for the “Duluth Angel of Hope.”
He is preceded in death by his mother Sharon A. Rosendahl; his father Donald C. Hite; and grandparents Douglas and Muriel Smith.
Rory is survived by his son Rory Lando Hite of Oklahoma; stepdaughter
Tiffini of Illinois; stepsons Jeremy of Nebraska and Kameron of Duluth; brother Doug (Amy) Rosendahl; two grandchildren Allyssa and Kayden of Duluth; nephews Douglas and Hunter of Superior; nieces Tia and Faith of Duluth, Berlyn of Superior; his Nana, Judy Ansello, who has been there since his mother passed away; his aunts Margaret Forsberg of Dallas, Ore., Sandra Kelley of Esko; his uncles Douglas (Bonnie) Smith, Brunswick, Maine, Brian (JoAnn) Smith, Rory (Katie) Smith of Grand Marais; numerous cousins and extended family.
Service and visitation was held Friday, Jan. 11, 2013 at First Memorial Chapel, Duluth. A celebration of life reception-luncheon was held at the home of cousin Dan Ansello, 510 97th Ave. West in Gary, New Duluth.
