Rodney B. Henneman





 

 

Rodney B. Henneman, 67, of Oconomowoc, died Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Angel’s Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc surrounded by his family.

Rodney was born June 4, 1948 in Chippewa Falls, the son of Bruce and Dolores (Flesch) Henneman. He graduated from Chi-Hi in 1966. Rodney served in the U.S. Air Force from 1966 until 1970 in Thailand during the Vietnam War. Rodney worked as a purchasing agent for Wisconsin Provision in Janesville and Werner Electric in Neenah.

On October 18, 1969, Rodney married Cindy Trotter in Rockford, Illinois.

Rodney is survived by one son, John (Brook) Henneman of Grand Marais; two daughters, Kim (Dave) Keto of Oconomowoc and Jeni (Ian) Lewellin of Janesville; three brothers, Jack (Debbie), Charlie and Tom Henneman all of Chippewa Falls; four sisters, Virginia “Gin” (Chuck) Dolesy of Charleston, South Carolina, Jane (Jim) Mathison of Tomah, Renee (Dale) Peterson of Las Vegas, Nevada and Barbara (Robert) Parkhurst of Chippewa Falls; and 10 grandchildren, TJ, Haley, Kobe, Boston, Owin, Trinity, Delaney, Asher, Harper and Genesis.

Rodney was preceded in death by his wife, Cindy, and his parents.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 21 at the Horan Funeral Home in Chippewa Falls. Rev. Charlie Richmond of St. Charles Church will be officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the Chippewa Falls Patriotic Council.

Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 21 at the funeral home.
