Master rock balancer Peter Juhl will be teaching the mysteries of his craft at Sugarloaf Cove on July 6. He will also help participants create their own amazing rock sculptures down on the beach.
Join master rock balancer and photographer Peter Juhl July 6 at Sugarloaf Cove to see and learn the delicate art of rock balancing.
You will be amazed as Juhl arranges natural stones found on location using only shape, weight and friction to create a unique composition.
No glue, magnets or other artificial supports are used.
Juhl will present the necessary physics and gravity information and then take participants to the beach for practical experience and hands-on assistance.
The program runs from 1 to 4 p.m. Lemonade and cookies will be served afterwards.
