Back in September, I was disappointed in my effort to serve the people of Legislative District 3A. It was fun to be a candidate and I thoroughly enjoyed my travels across this beautiful part of the country.
I also enjoyed getting to know the other candidates. I was impressed by their sincerity and willingness to serve their community.
I was particularly impressed by Rob Ecklund, who won the DFL primary election. Rob is an honest, sincere, thoughtful and knowledgeable candidate. He is a true DFLer. He and I agree on almost every issue.
On our few areas of policy disagreement, I found Rob to be a good listener with an open mind. He will be a good representative for us in Saint Paul.
I hope you’ll join me in voting for Rob Ecklund in the District 3A special election on December 8th.
