“Roadside Advertising in a Digital Age” topic of March 22 workshop

Cook County Higher Education will present “Roadside Advertising in a Digital Age – Connecting with People on the Move” on Tuesday, March 22 at the North Shore Campus.

Does your business have a sign on the digital superhighway? Can your customers find you in this evolving digital world? Over 50 million people use GPS units, while even more use Google Maps or Bing or Yahoo! to find goods or services. Digital maps not only describe in detail how to reach a destination but give advice on the goods or services and should be a key part of your business marketing.

In this three-hour workshop John Bennett from the University of Minnesota Extension will show how to utilize digital maps and teach how to get on them.

The session is available at two different times: 9 a.m. to noon, or 1 to 4 p.m. There is a $10 fee. For more information and to register, e-mail highered@boreal.org or call (218) 387-3411 by March 21.
