Richard “Rich” Carl Hagberg Sr.

Richard “Rich” Carl Hagberg Sr. of Scott Township, Wisconsin, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015, at the age of 68.

Richard was born to the late Carl and Elizabeth (Oile) Hagberg in Two Harbors on March 17, 1947. He attended public schools in Cook County and studied business administration at local colleges.

Rich owned and operated Rhoes Auto Repair in South Minneapolis for 15 years. He also worked at Polaris Industries in Osceola and, most recently, the St. Croix Casino in Danbury.

Rich loved most styles of music, and was a member of the band Country Express. He played guitar and pedal steel, and did vocals. Above all, what Rich enjoyed most was spending time with “the kids.”

Rich is survived by his girlfriend, Melissa; brother, Roger; sons, Rick (Devin) Jr., and Allen; daughters, Debbie, Stacy, Mariah and McKenzie; grandchildren Austin, Ingrid, Janay, Gavin, Elliot, and Alec; and great-grandchildren Jala Jr. and Maliya.

In keeping with Rich’s request, there will not be any services.
