Reigning Riders Saddle Club hosts horse competition

The horse show competition, sponsored by the Reigning Riders Saddle Club and held at the Gunflint Horse Park in Grand Marais, included eight different challenges including an obstacle course, a cloverleaf-pattern race around barrels, a key hole race requiring entering and exiting a circle, and following directions while on a horse, holding a glass of water and trying not to spill it.

PeeWee (age 10 and under):

2. Savanna Skinner riding Gypsy

Junior (ages 11-13)
1. Ashlee Smith riding Maiden
2. Madysen McKeever riding Prince

Senior (ages 18-34)
1. Jessica Bockovich riding Exira
2. Steph LeBlanc riding Honey

Super Senior (age 35 and over)
1. Julie Berquist riding Montego
