Recycling materials should be considered

I read the February 11 article County board debates demolition landfill proposal on the demolition landfill proposal. I was thinking that if someone would invest in a large tub grinder they could process the brush piles and produce landscape mulch. The state has been putting more and more restrictions on burning brush, but if things get recycled it is less invasive on the ecology. There are other things that could also be recycled.

The shingles could be recycled for paving materials, cement could be processed into road aggregate. As time goes on more things would enter the list. This could make junk in the county marketable material.

I think the county could save a lot of money if they could recycle materials instead of hauling them away .
