Ramberg starts for the Gophers

Former CCHS great Will Ramberg contributed a lot to the Gopher’s opening win against Western Michigan. On Monday, November 7 Ramberg, who started for the Gophers, scored two big baskets in the team’s 61-60 victory over Western Michigan. The 6’5” guard made both baskets off of passes down underneath where he scored off of two reverse layups. Only Cooper Ta’lon played more minutes than Will. Cooper was on the floor for 40 minutes while Ramberg played 34. Fellow starter Garcia Dawson played 31 minutes while back-up Taurus Samuels played 24 minutes. Garcia led the team in scoring with 23 points. Ramberg and Ta’lon each had eight rebounds to lead the Gopher’s on the boards. Will also had one block in the game, one assist, and ended his night 2-4 shooting.
