Qwest customers who sign up for paperless billing and pay their bills online have the option of designating the equivalent of 1% of their monthly bill to the eligible school district of their choice – on Qwest’s dime, not the customer’s.
This spring, Cook County Schools received just under $60 from Qwest thanks to customers who signed up for the program.
Qwest’s website (www. qwest.com) states: “At Qwest, we’re passionate about giving back to the communities where we do business. Our Qwest for Education programs are grounded in our belief that every child deserves a great education, and that every community benefits when kids have more opportunities to learn and grow.”
Qwest customers wanting the company to donate the equivalent of 1% of their monthly bill to the local school system can sign up at www. qwest.com/onepercent.
