Locals pretty much stayed away from the Fisherman’s Picnic Mini Golf Tournament at Putt N’ Petts this year, but that paved the way for some new winners to take the podium and walk off with some cold hard cash.

Ben Harnell won the Under 13 division with an 18 hole score of 48. Trent LeVahn was second with a 51 and in third was Brent Bartlam with a 53. First place was awarded $20, second took home $15 and third received $10.

Brad Powek won the Adult 14 and Up division with a score of 45. Trent Klos was second with a score of 46 and four people tied for third with a 47. First place received $25, second place $20 and third earned $15.

All in all, 32 people turned in scorecards in the Adult Division, “But more people entered and played. They knew they weren’t going to win anything so they just kept their scorecards,” said Jamie Sjogren, who works at the family-run business.

Fourteen kids played in the 13 and under bracket and everyone seemed to have a great time—if not always post a great score—said Sjogren.
