Program on generations to be held April 21 at Community Center

There will be a community conversation about the different generations in Cook County on April 21 from 5:15 to 7:15 p.m. at the Community Center. Free childcare will be provided by the YMCA (at the YMCA) and food will be provided at the discussion.

The discussion will start by asking: Which are you – the Traditional Generation, the Baby Boom Generation, Generation X, Generation Y or the new iGeneration?

Lori Rothstein, U of M Extension educator, will lead the discussion. It is hoped that participants from all the different generations will be present to talk about “generations” and how we can use differing capabilities to strengthen our community both in volunteering and in the workplace.

To pre-register (to help with child care and food arrangements), call Diane Booth at 387-3015.
