Area residents concerned about threats to reproductive healthcare access will gather for a “human billboard” signing action and pro-choice rally on Wednesday, November 2, along Duluth’s North Shore.
Participants for the hour-long human billboard action will meet at the Clearwater Event Center, 5135 North Shore Dr at 4:30 p.m. We will shuttle to the corner of McQuade Rd. and Highway 61 for the signing event and return to the event center for the 6pm indoor pro-choice rally. Speakers will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Attendees will hear from several speakers. Paulina Briggs, patient educator at the WE Health Clinic in Duluth since 2016, works to ensure everyone has access to comprehensive sexual and reproductive healthcare in the Northland and beyond. Litzy Nowobielski is the Planned Parenthood Duluth Clinic manager. * Final speaker is unconfirmed at press time.
The event is sponsored by the Arrowhead Pro-Choice Action Coalition, a grassroots group of concerned residents who have come together to provide the community with information about the status of reproductive healthcare in Minnesota and surrounding states.
The Clearwater Event Center is located along the North Shore Scenic Drive, north of McQuade Road and is ADA compliant.
