Regarding population control and climate change:
It doesn’t matter if we control population growth so long as that population continues to utilize fossil fuels in the way we do now. We could institute a global population cap at the current level and still catapult ourselves into extinction because we wish to eat meat, use fossil fuels at the current rate, and engage in carbon heavy activities.
We are immaterial as far as the planet is concerned. It could care less if it was a burning star. Whether we want to gift that landscape to our kids and grandkids is the question.
Regarding Pete Stauber and the current occupant of the White House: Representative Stauber’s official statement on the Mueller report is misleading as it fundamentally mischaracterizes the findings of the report. I urge anyone concerned with the state of our democracy to review the report in full.
Political games are afoot, best we all know where the jokers are hiding. We are being given the chance to decide if the law applies to everyone or only to those who cannot buy it.
