We are living in a time of isolation, fear and need. Turn on the news and see people in trouble, no money and no food. People in Cook County see this and give money, food and time to help their neighbors. One of the recipients is our food shelf. The number of families using it has not increased. I can’t believe there is no need. Let your friends and neighbors give you a hand up. When resources are scarce, let us help!
The food shelf is located at the Congregational Church, 3rd Ave West and 2nd Street (lower level off of 3rd Street). It is open every Monday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and the first Wednesday of each month form 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
