Plenty going on at the Birch Grove Community Center



Need to get your taxes done? Learn how to play pickle ball? Play some pick-up hockey or join other seniors for a meal?

All of that and more is available at the Birch Grove Community Center in Tofte.

Cook County Volunteer Tax Service is open every Thursday from now until April 11 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the tax service is free.

Join other seniors for lunch at Birch Grove Center in the Community Room every Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. for great food and conversation. To make your reservation, call Barb Merritt at 663-7553. A suggested donation of $5 is greatly appreciated.

The ice skating rink is open at Birch Grove Community Center. A warming hut and bathroom are available for use at the rink. Need skates? There are many skates to choose from – please borrow and return to the shelves when done. Rink lights stay on at night until 10 p.m. Enjoy the rink compliments of the township of Tofte!

Interested in playing pickle ball? Join the West End pickle ball players every Thursday and/or Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. at Birch Grove Center.
