Grand Marais Public Utilities Customers will experience two brief electrical power outages:
Monday, June 6th around 5:30 am (estimated 2-5 minute outage)
Wednesday, June 8th around 3:00 pm (estimated 2-5 minute outage)
Great River Energy is replacing transmission lines that feed the Grand Marais Public Utilities substation. During their maintenance project, Grand Marais public utilities will be operating the Grand Marais Power Plant in coordination with Great River Energy’s plant in Colvill.
