Pincushion Winter Festival February 15

The 2020 Pincushion Winter Festival is less than one month away. If you want to take part, get your cross country skis out and start training now.

This year the festival will be held February 15. It’s a day filled with Nordic ski races, skijoring events, and family fun.

The 30k classic ski race will start at 10 a.m. At 10:50 a.m., the classic and woody ski racers will take part in a 10k. They will be followed by the 10k skate competitors who will leave the starting gate at 11 a.m.

Kids get their chance to compete at 11:15 a.m. when they take part in the 3k race. Awards will be given out at 12:30 p.m., but the fun has just started.

A family ski will be held at 1 p.m.. The always fun to watch skijoring races begin at 2 p.m. for the 7k events and 2:10 p.m. for the 3k race. The skijoring events will be held with one dog and one skier.
