There were a lot of elves working at Santa’s Workshop on Saturday, December 3. The day started with a pancake breakfast and there was holiday shopping with help from the elves all day. These young ladies helped out by providing child care and arts and crafts.

The Grand Marais Art Colony was a busy place on Saturday, December 3 when members of the Northwoods Fiber Arts Guild put their handiwork on display at the annual holiday sale. Part of the fun of the event is looking at the artistic displays, but the event is also a great place to pick up Christmas gifts. There is everything from felted items and weaving to glassware, pottery and jewelry.
