Moose Madness in Grand Marais on Friday and Saturday, October 21-22 filled downtown Grand Marais with folks looking for Murray the Moose Madness mascot and enjoying a number of moose-themed activities. Murray wandered through town on October 21-22, passing out “I saw a moose in Grand Marais” buttons and candy to kids of all ages. Here, Murray visits with Lucy, Luke, and Nick Johnson. That’s Nick on far right—he’s not too sure he likes this large creature, candy or no candy. The family traveled to Grand Marais from Blaine, MN.

The Garage offered moose-themed arts and crafts, courtesy of the local Girl Scouts. They also welcomed visitors with a whimsical twist on the weekend’s Moose Madness theme with these cute little critters.
