The Bethlehem Lutheran Church Women’s Spring Brunch was held recently, brightening spirits and serving as an occasion to honor one of the women who serve the community— Sally Arntsen of Grand Marais. Sally was selected as Bethlehem Lutheran’s “Angel of the Year.” She received a “halo” of lovely spring flowers and Gwen Lenz presented her with an “angel gift.”

The theme of the spring brunch was weddings and a number of beautiful gowns were on display. Irene Malner shows Mary McElevey the receipt for her gorgeous wedding dress that she purchased from Oreck’s in Duluth. The price of the dress, which is satin and Chantilly lace, also included a wedding portrait from Power’s in Duluth.
