
The American Legion Post 413 Auxiliary hosted a children’s Christmas carnival at the legion lounge on Sunday, December 12. Dozens of kids enjoyed a snowman bean bag toss, a lollipop Christmas tree, a dime toss, ice fishing and more. Top: The highlight of the day was the appearance of Santa Claus! Kamryn Johnson shares her Christmas wishes with Santa. Above: Kirsten Pederson helps little Jordan Gotchie with her “catch” in the ice fishing game. Right: There were a number of delicious goodies for the cakewalk and kids enjoyed the trip around and around to find out whether or not they won a cake or pie.

The Julefest at Bethlehem Lutheran Church on Saturday, December 11 was a delightful Christmas event, with the crowning of St. Lucia, sugary Scandinavian treats, and lovely music.
