Grand Marais has a new Mayor. Tracy Benson was sworn in as the new Mayor on Wednesday, January 11. She takes over for Jay DeCoux who opted not to run again. Craig Schulte was appointed acting mayor in case Benson can’t make a meeting. Benjamin (Ben) Peters and Aaron Carlson, two new council members joined returning council members Craig Schulte and Michael Garry during the Oath of Office ceremony.
