Last weekend’s Stone Harbor Wilderness Supply’s 8th Annual Stone Harbor North Shore Water Festival drew nice crowds.

Attendees on hand were offered free mini kayak tours as well as stand up paddleboard tours and yoga performed on paddleboards in the Grand Marais Harbor. Warm weather, relatively warm Lake Superior water and little wind made for a nice two days for folks who were often new to the vagaries of paddle boarding or kayaking. Participants listened to the music from Wild Mountain Thyme and Brotherless Arms bands. Hudson Bay Bound author Natale Warren signed copies of her books at Stone Harbor and vendors displayed camping gear, watercrafts, and other outdoor gear.
