The Vikings football team got stronger throughout the year, nearly upsetting the Southridge Panthers at home and winning a playoff game before being beaten by Mountain Iron-Buhl, who went on to play in the state semifinal game where they lost to Mountain Lake. Taking All-Conference honors were: Honorable Mention – Masen McKeever, Vaughn Swindlehurst. First Team All Conference: Keenan Hingos, Adam Dorr, and Isaiah Deschampe.

The seniors were honored at the Cook County High School football banquet L-R: Jordan Porter, Masen McKeever, Adam Dorr, Keenan Hingos, Devon Premo. Named “Red Dog” Practice Player of the Year was Jacob Dorr. No small honor here, for his outstanding leadership demonstrated on the playing field, classroom, and work in the community, senior Viking quarterback Adam Dorr received the “Man Built for Others Award.” The “Freshman of the Year” award went to Kole Anderson.
