The 4th annual Cook County Care Partners Ice Cream Social held Sunday, Aug. 25 at at Sydney’s Frozen Custard drew more than 150 community supporters, volunteers and visitors to the fundraiser. Participants enjoyed sundaes, a silent auction, and quilt raffle draw. Heidi Doo-Kirk of Grand Marais won the beautiful quilt made by Carol Harris. All together over $5000 was raised to support programs for those on the journey of aging, serious illness and end-of-life. Top: Ruth Olson and Care Partners Director Kay Grindland Share a moment.
