Begun in 1934 with Mrs. Francis Fenstad as president, the Grand Marais Garden Club will celebrates its 86th anniversary with a flower show. Held Saturday the 27th from 1-4 p.m. at the Community Center in Grand Marais, the 2019 theme is “Veggies and Bouquets.” In addition to the traditional flower arrangements, plants, cut flowers in vases and small tools will be available for purchase.
