Among the highlights of this year’s Fisherman’s Picnic were Jamie Fischer’s lumberjack shows that were held three or four times a day, depending on the weather. There were demonstrations and mini competitions between Nate Greenburg and Dominik Serpico in throwing the axe, boom running, log rolling, crosscut sawing, tree topping, stock saw, as well as demonstrations in chain saw carving.
