There was a wave of joy following the ribbon-cutting ceremony held Thursday, July 12 for the Grand Portage Lodge & Casino. After years of intensive construction, Grand Portage Lodge and Casino threw open its doors to welcome guests to the gorgeous new public spaces, refreshed lakeside dining area and lounge, elegantly renewed rooms and suites, new event center and meeting rooms, a new pool complex with direct access to Portage Bay, and of course, the new casino floor.
