Care Partners of Cook County designated the second week of June as Senior Spring Cleanup Week. Lots of local seniors received yard chores from volunteers in the community. One of the groups to volunteer was Cub Scout Pack 167. One of the troop leaders, Tina Hegg, said, “They did an amazing job at their spring service project clearing the woods of fallen brush for one of our Grand Marais seniors. Scout families filled a flatbed provided by Cook County Towing with debris stacked several feet high in just 45 minutes’ work!”
