Although there is more work to do on the $24.5 million hospital/care center remodel and addition, much has been done in the last year and a half. Recently the staff and administration offered walking tours to the public, showing off the new emergency department, hospital patient rooms, nurses’ work stations, offices, and the completed care center household. Over 160 people attended the open house that was held Aug. 10.

Some of the finished areas shown to the public were: the nurses’ new work station (top); large tiled bathrooms in every hospital/care center room (above); the new telemedicine room (above right); and larger patient rooms (right).
