People gathered during the day and evening last weekend to listen to a wide variety of musicians and bands perform free of charge in Harbor Park as part of the Stars of the North Music Festival. Above, Common Ground was just one of a dozen acts who took to the stage. The event was organized by the Grand Marais Music Collaborative which will use the money earned from raffle tickets and sales from the beer garden to provide music lessons to local kids who otherwise couldn’t afford them.
