Cook County Little League season is up and running, with some great baseball action on the field of play. Above, Katie Carpenter legs it out to first base as the first baseman awaits a throw that was jut a tad too late to catch the speedy Carpenter. Little League games are played on Sundays and Tuesdays, with the games usually starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Pappy Wright Little League field.
