Above left: Next the Lions gave a donation to help send Cook County High School Spanish students to Concordia College Language Camp. The donation will give the students a great opportunity to become immersed in the Spanish language while at camp, said Maggie Frederichs. Here Carlson presents Maggie Frederichs with a check. Above right: And finally, Carlson, who loves to hand out checks, presented Kaitlyn Bohlin of North House Folk School a check for business membership.
