In 2014, the Grand Marais Garden Club received a “Great Place Project” grant to “reclaim and plant” in the triangle between South of the Border Café and Buck’s Hardware. Since then Garden Club members have tended the plantings. They gathered on September 14 to spruce up the area and prepare the site for winter.
