The College & Career Fair at School District 166 on Friday, March 25 gave students the opportunity to learn about the wide variety of jobs available in our region with representatives from law enforcement, healthcare, hospitality and more. There were also representatives from six colleges sharing educational options. Above: Heath Ekstrom, PGA, head golf professional at Superior National at Lutsen talked to students about the different types of jobs available in the golfing industry—and offered some putting tips. Right: Members of the Army National Guard were on hand to talk about the different types of jobs and training available with the military.

Above: Cook County North Shore Hospital Ambulance Director Steve DuChien and EMT Nicole Bockovich talked about careers in emergency medicine and demonstrated how the LUCAS automated chest compression device works, with help of willing “patients.”
