The community gave its hearty support to a church youth group chili cook-off fundraiser held Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Grand Marais. The event raised about $1,000 to help Bethlehem Lutheran and Evangelical Free Church youth take a trip to the Twin Cities this summer and to benefit the Cook County Food Shelf. Those in attendance had the opportunity to judge chili entries by 10 different groups.
