Left: The well-attended Tofte parade was led by the American Legion Post 413 Honor Guard, followed by the Cook County High School Band. Above: Enjoying a ride in the parade was the 2015 Tofte Citizen of the Year Bill Hansen, along with his wife Cindy and their dog, Roy. Bill received lots of cheers along the way for this welldeserved recognition for his work in the community.

The Hovland community got into the Independence Day spirit at the Hovland Arts Festival. Left: Enterprising Doug had a lemonade stand with some red, white and blue flair. Above: In addition to beautiful art in and around the town hall, there was a great lunch at Trinity Lutheran Church, served by Sandy Petty, Sharon Bloomquist and Pastor Kris Garey.
