Browsing a wonderful selection of Silent Auction offerings, sampling gourmet treats while being serenaded by talented musicians— what could be better? Knowing that you are supporting a worthy cause while enjoying the evening. That is what Enriching Academics Through Sustenance (EAT S) is all about. Community members gathered to enjoy the EAT S 2010 event at Cook County High School on Thursday, March 11. The annual event is put on by the Cook County Schools Education Foundation and benefits School District 166, providing funds for extraordinary educational opportunities. Providing delectable little desserts was Cindy Muus’s Culinary Arts class. Taking a turn at serving was (L-R) Grace Nelson, Cheyenne Sorlie and Randee Folen.
