There was fun on land and sea at the North Shore Dragon Boat Festival. The Otters from Minneapolis looked quite impressive in the Friday night Parade of Teams.
On Saturday crowds lined the beach to watch the fast and furious dragon boat paddlers.
After the parade all the teams and a huge crowd of fans gathered for the traditional “Waking the Dragon.” Grand Marais City Councilor Tim Kennedy had the honor this year.
