The Sawtooth Mountain Elementary School Project Fair on Thursday, May 15 had many interesting displays and inventions. Amy Carpenter shared some interesting information about a springtime favorite, pussy willows.

Above: The Great Expectations School Science Fair was held May 6 and there were fascinating experiments to see. Sibling scientists Grace and Lyndon Blomberg made “elephant tooth paste,” a fun, foamy concoction.
Above left: Nina and Sienna Woerheide partnered to “launch” a hydro-powered rocket. Everyone—including Nina—was surprised at how high it soared. Above right: Claire Lindstrom mixes up a batch of goop that turned into a bouncy ball!
