Cook County High School Homecoming Coronation was held Monday, Sept. 30 at 8:15 a.m. – an unusual time and the royal court wore very unusual attire. Above: As part of Homecoming pep week festivities, Monday was either Pajama Day or Ugly Sweater Day, whichever candidates and attendants preferred – so some of the court was dressed in PJs, some in ugly sweaters and a few in regular school clothes. Upper right: Crowned King and Queen of Viking Homecoming were Charlie Lawler and Abbey Sutton. Lower right: They weren’t crowned royalty, but Cassidy Gecas and Jessica Berg- Collman had fun in the procession.
