Cook County has its share of very active seniors! Every May, Pat Neal, almost 80, takes his aunt, Honey Rosen, for a ride to Trail Center for lunch—on his motorcycle! It’s an early birthday treat. Honey will be turning 95 on June 24! Safe travels!
Maybelle Rose Skou of Schroeder celebrated her 102nd birthday on Mother’s Day, May 12. Maybelle still lives in her own home in Schroeder, thanks to family and friends nearby. Maybelle likes to keep up on current events and maintains her great sense of humor. It is always fun to listen to Maybelle reminisce about her life and all the changes she has seen.
