Since (at least) 1997 Hedstrom Lumber has given trees to the community in an effort, said Howard Hedstrom, company president, “To be good stewards of the land. I hope we’re making a difference. We’re enthusiastic to do this and have heard many heart warming stories from people who have gotten trees from us over the years.” This year Hedstrom Lumber gave away coveted white pine, red pine and white spruce seedlings.
